LAS VEGAS—AN ENCORE EVENT, JANUARY 9
“EU2012 Encore—Conversations with the Vanguard of the Electric Universe,” will be a series of panels, a day of reflection by speakers and accredited observers immediately following the 3-day event, ELECTRIC UNIVERSE 2012— THE HUMAN STORY, January 6-8. Q & A on the growing potential of the Electric Universe paradigm, with audience participation encouraged.
When we set out to organize a conference in Las Vegas for early 2012, we knew we’d be working with an unusually short calendar. That could be risky, but our confidence came from having discovered, at the NPA event this past summer, a crowd of capable enthusiasts forming around us, all eager to help.
Our hopes have now been redeemed beyond all expectations. We’re now well above the projected 75 to 100 attendees, having passed 150 attendees about a week ago. And it’s not just the number of attendees that has surprised us. A unique challenge for us is that more capable speakers on key EU topics are now available than we had imagined—some having only joined our circle in the past few months. They deserve to be heard.
To deal with the new challenge we’ve had to think in radical terms, organizing an encore symposium. It will be a different kind of event and will take nothing away from the main conference, every hour of which is packed with exceptional content.
