Electric Universe Updates

EU2012

Electric Universe Conference to Kick Off January 6 in Las Vegas

Annual Gathering Debuts with The Human Story

Please join us in a three-day journey through the Electric Universe. Explore with us the unified underpinnings of the natural world.
Witness how horizons expand through interdisciplinary collaboration and synthesis. Discover electric patterns repeating themselves at all scales, from the tiny world of the atom to the far reaches of space. Consider as well the electricity of life and the role of frequencies and resonance in biological systems. See how electricity helped researchers penetrate the great mysteries of the past, the origins of mythic archetypes and symbols, and the roots of cultural anxiety.
We have chosen as our symbol for the conference the primordial cosmic thunderbolt: Sanskrit [vajra], Tibetan [dorje], and Japanese [kongō]. We did so because, as a matter of record, it is this enigmatic “weapon of the gods” that bridges ancient worlds and the leading edge of plasma science.
Join Wallace Thornhill, Donald Scott, David Talbott and a full complement of Thunderbolts Project speakers in launching a new year of the Electric Universe—an unprecedented event that you will not want to miss.

"ELECTRIC UNIVERSE 2012"--ROOM RESERVATIONS GOING FAST
Less than a week after announcing the upcoming world conference, reservations at the Rio of Las Vegas had already reached 25 percent of the total blocked rooms for the event. Initial details on the event, including room reservations at the Rio, can be found by following the conference links off the Thunderbolts.info home page.
The present speakers list is only the beginning. Arrangements for speakers, panelists, press releases, news conferences, general publicity, and related events are moving ahead rapidly, and we'll have a late-breaking update in four or five days.
This more ambitious event is possible only because of an explosion of highly capable contributors and volunteers. These inspired folks have come to us from every background, including academic, scientific, business, and other professional credentials. Complementing their roles are the remarkable commitments of lay people who've truly "gotten the picture."
This broader teamwork is giving added dimensions to the Thunderbolts Project, and the upcoming conference should be the best demonstration of the new potential. Please follow developments over the coming days and weeks to see this growing potential for yourself.

ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO THE ELECTRIC UNIVERSE
Thanks to the initial contribution of Bob Johnson and the extensive follow-up contribution of managing editor Jim Johnson (no relation to Bob), we have now begun a chapter-by-chapter publication of "The Essential Guide to the Electric Universe."
Start with the overview page and chapter headings here:
http://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/category/eg/
The link to the preface is at the bottom of the overview page, and new chapters will always be at the top. Use the little red arrows at the top or bottom of each page to move from one chapter to another. Or return to the overview page to go directly to a different chapter.
The editors are committed to publishing a new chapter every seven to ten days through the end of the year.

Made You Blink
Oct 17, 2011
The problem with astronomy is not that the stars are so far away or that modern instruments are expensive. The problem with astronomy is the human tendency to blink when something unexpected comes at you quickly.
